From personal performance enhancements to herbal remedies in a quick dissolving strip, clearly the convenience industry is meeting consumers’ needs for “good health on the go.”
One product that was particularly interesting was Dyna-Tabs, a package of quick dissolving strips that contains the consumer’s choice of herbal remedy – Anti-Oxidant in Green Tea; Vita Surge™ in Ginseng; Memory Enhancer in Ginko Biloba; Appetite Suppressant in Chocolate Mint; Aloe Vera in Natural flavor; Immune System Enhancer with Vitamin C; and Carb Guard™ Blocker Tabs in Citrus. I think this is such a great idea, but judging from the trickle of traffic at the Dyna-Tabs booth, it may take a while for the c-store industry to catch on.
CVC Specialists featured two new products – Manis’ Natural Male Enhancer, an herbal supplement that promotes growth, and Staminex™ Peak Performance Enhancer, a dietary supplement to help promote sexual function.
BDI Marketing showcased its new TestostreX™, a male sexual stimulant that contains Staminol™ designed exclusively for frustrated men. The company also featured Sweet Surrender™, a cherry-flavored sexual enhancement cream designed just for women.
At work or in the household, everyone comes into contact with potential skin irritants. So The Invisible Armor Lotion was invented. This waterproof, steroid-free, anti-bacterial, anti-microbial moisturizing lotion protects skin from irritants for up to four hours, even with handwashing. The moisturizing effect is a huge plus.
Select Distributors offered new 100 percent copper Select Scouring Pads. They come 36 pads to a package.
DMD Pharmaceuticals featured its Maximum Strength Peptime® 357 Magnum Stimulant with 200mg of caffeine. The product also comes in a Black version. Both are designed to promote alertness.
Convenience Valet promoted its 4-ft. over-the-gondola display featuring 16 different varieties of medicines. The rack holds 190 packages.
MotorHead Products offered the new Nascar special edition Mosquito Repelling Bug Badge™, a pin-on item designed for outdoor activities. |
